The Musky King Blonde Ale
A light, malt-forward beer with a clean finish, and gentle hop character
The Boulder Junction Musky Jamboree began in 1957 as a way for local resort owners, fishing guides, and businesses to thank visitors for making Boulder Junction their Northwoods destination. Two years later, the community crowned its first—and only—Musky King. Seven-year-old Jeff Long was the lone contestant, earning a title that, in many ways, would prove prophetic. Jeff spent the rest of his life serving the community he loved.
The Musky King Blonde Ale is a light, malt-forward beer with a clean finish, gentle hop character, and a personality that says “everyone’s welcome here, ” just like Jeff. This beer honors both the title Jeff received as a young boy and the legacy he earned over a lifetime. For every pint sold, the Boulder Junction Brewing Company donates $1 to the Jeff Long Boulder Junction Legacy Fund through the Boulder Junction Community Foundation, helping continue the work Jeff cared so deeply about.
