Right Turn on M

The question for Boulder Junction has always been, “What can we do to make people want to make that right turn on M?”
Boulder Junction was never alone in offering beautiful lakes, towering pines, outstanding fishing, or the quiet beauty of the Northwoods. Every neighboring community could make similar claims. visitors traveling north had no shortage of places to spend a vacation. For Boulder Junction to thrive, it would have to offer something more. It would have to become a destination people intentionally chose rather than happened to discover. Drivers make a conscious choice to make a right turn on County Highway M, intersecting with 51 about 8 miles north of Minocqua.
